Acting Los Angeles

If you want to be in film and television LA is the place to be. Acting in Los Angeles is geared to a certain type of industry. If you are more interested in doing theatre and making a living doing it, LA probably isn’t the place to be. (Not that it’s impossible to do so but rather a little more difficult.)

A good way to get the feeling of being on a set and how it works is to become an extra. You can register at central casting for about 20 dollars and you can work on huge productions!

A good website for beginning Actors in LA is at the redbirdstudio. This website is a free resource and is a great way to get information about the general acting business.
